Fall Creek Falls is Tennesee's largest state park, covering 21,000 acres.
The popular park's attractions are largely scenic, with deep river gorges, old-growth forests and four waterfalls. At 256 feet, Fall Creek Falls is one of America's highest.
A resort park, Fall Creek Falls has an inn, cabins, a restaurant and golf course, but nature prevails. Although there are developed campgrounds, campers have the option of backpacking 13 miles to two backcountry sites.
There is good fishing and canoeing, but visitors must rent a park canoe. Bikers have the use of a three-mile, paved trail and more than 10 miles of mountain bike trails. There are several good rock climbs in the park.
