Newton Hills State Park's tranquil, rolling woodlands are home to an abundance of wildlife, including deer, small mammals and wild turkeys.

Hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians share roughly four miles of trails, and another mile and a half are dedicated for hiking only.

The park has 125 campsites and five cabins. Open year-round, it's a popular site for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
