One of more than 20 state parks and recreation areas along the majestic Columbia River, this day-use park is named for a striking, tower-like rock formation.
Visitors come to Rooster Rock not only for the view, but to hike, launch their boats in the basin on the Columbia, and use the sand beach for bathing.
The park is also used for fishing and as a takeoff point for windsurfing. Call 503-695-2220 for wind information.
