The park’s extra-large, private, wind-protected campsites are an excellent base of operations from which to explore the most westerly lighthouse in Oregon.
Visitors also enjoy the historic Hughes House, which was built in 1898 and served as the hub of operations at the 2,000-acre Hughes ranch.
There are eight miles of hiking trails with many spectacular ocean vistas in woodland and wetland settings. A portion of the hiking trails is the Oregon Coast Trail. Equestrians enjoy many miles of horse trails (including the beach) and a horse camp.
The salmon/steelhead run on the Sixes and Elk Rivers are adjacent to Cape Blanco.
Cabins and group camp sites are available as well as a hiking and biking camp, 4 log cabins, and 52 sites with electrical hookups and water.
