Limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters and water sports attract many vacationers to this park, situated near the dam of 12,650-acre Lake Tenkiller in northeastern Oklahoma.
The lake's underwater cliffs and caves also attract scuba divers.
The park offers 187 campsites on nine campgrounds and range from primitive sites to full hookups. There are also 39 cabins with one to three bedrooms, 10 motel-style rooms, a marina and a floating restaurant.
Fishing is excellent for bass, catfish, crappie and other species. Day slips are available at the marina.
There are two nature trails and roughly 10 miles of roads for walking and biking in the park.
Two RV sites are wheelchair-accessible.
There is a nature center that offers numerous programs at the park focusing on wildlife, habitat and Native American history.
The park also offers a swimming pool, amphitheater, shelters, a community building for large gatherings and a scuba dive park.
