Golden Hill State Park, located off Route 269, offers numerous tent and trailer campsites and more than five miles of hiking and cross-country ski trails.
The park has a rich history. Along the shore are old lighthouses and shipwrecks, some dating back to the early 19th century.
Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse, built in 1875, offers full service accomodations in the "Lighthouse Cottage."
Golden Hill also has a wonderful boat launching facility on Lake Ontario for sport fishing.
Camping is available from mid-April through mid-October.
