Located on the western shore of massive Kentucky Lake, Kenlake offers a blend of traditional recreation on 1,795 acres and resort-style accommodations.
Fishing boats and ski boats can be rented at the large marina. Fishermen catch bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie.
Swimmers have use of a pool, and golfers can enjoy a nine-hole golf course. The park has a .7-mile hiking trail. More hiking, 158 miles of it, can be found less than a mile away at the Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000-acre peninsula bound by Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.
This federal recreation area is considered one of the best places for hunting, fishing, camping and viewing wildlife in the region.
Kenlake has a 90-site seasonal campground with utilities.
