Yatesville Lake, a 2,300 square acre impoundment of Blaine Creek, is the largest lake in eastern Kentucky, offering great bluegill, crappie and bass fishing.
The full-service Yatesville Marina has 140 boat slips, covered and uncovered. The marina also offers a ship's store. Pontoon and boat rentals are also available, and there is a picnic shelter, musicians stage, the Fred M. Vinson Veterans Memorial, playgrounds, and a wheelchair-accessible fishing pier.
The park also offers a wide variety of trails. The Mary Ingles Trail System is a designated Community Millennium Trail and a National Recreation Trail. The trail system offers three rugged hiking trails, a wheelchair-accessible nature trail, and two paved exercise paths.
Also available is the Pleasant Ridge Trail System, made up of five wooded nature trails, and a 20-mile multi-use trail that is open to horseback riders, mountain bikers, hikers and backpackers year-round.
The park also has an award-winning 18-hole golf course that is open year-round.
The Yatesville Campgrounds (also known as the Pleasant Ridge Campgrounds) offers 47 campsites. There are 20 lakeside campsites and four hike-in campsites. The campground also has playgrounds, a boat ramp, restrooms, showers, laundry, and a dump station. The campground is open year-round.
