Tuttle Creek State Park is located on the banks of the state's second largest lake, Tuttle Creek Reservoir. Four areas make up the 1,200-acre park, while the wildlife area comprises 12,200 acres and the lake covers 15,800 acres.
Fishing for channel and flathead catfish is excellent. Anglers also take crappie, bass, and saugeye. Water-skiers, pleasure boaters and windsurfers also use the lake.
Wildlife includes deer, turkey, fox squirrels, quail, pheasant and ducks.
The park has swimming beaches, boat ramps, courtesy docks, a marina and cabins. There are also hiking trails and equestrian trails mountain biking is popular on park roads and at the Fancy Creek Area Mountain Bike Trail.
