Hulls Gulch, north of the city of Boise, offers a 3.5- and a 2.5-mile walking loop. Along the way, interpretive signs detail the wildlife, history, soils and ecology of this area.
Rabbits, squirrels, lizards, snakes, mule deer, badgers and coyotes are all found in Hulls Gulch. It is also a favorite place for birdwatchers.
The wildlife habitat types in the area include hillsides covered with sagebrush and bitterbrush.
