The open meadows along the western shore of Dworshak Reservoir form an idyllic backdrop of Dworshak State Park.
This 850-acre reserve is a prime spot for water sports, camping, hiking and fishing.
Day-use activities center around the 57-mile-long reservoir, including fishing for kokanee, a small landlocked salmon. A marina offers full boating and fishing facilities.
The Freeman Creek Campgrounds offer 105 sites, 46 with water and electrical hookups. A group campground is available by reservation. Two 1.5-mile hiking trails encircle the campground. Campsites may be reserved.
