Chickasaw State Park’s 520 acres are a favorite destination of visitors to rural Marengo County. The park is midway between Tuscaloosa and Mobile. Hiking trails and improved tent and trailer campsites attract outdoors people from early spring through late fall. Scenery is colorful and hiking trails vary. A wading pool invites you to cool your heels at the end of your hike. Picnic facilities include a barbecue grilling pavilion, other large pavilions and scattered picnic tables.
