Fifteen miles north of Selma is the beautiful, 1,080-acre Paul M. Grist State Park.
Recently, six RV and six tent sites, all wheelchair-accessible, were developed at the park. There also are a boat launch and swimming area.
Hiking trails ranging from one to three miles weave through the park.
Fishing in the 100-acre lake is excellent for bass, brim and catfish.
There are also picnic areas, picnic shelters and a playground.
